Admitting Students for Curiosity, Commitment, and Depth

Admission to PSI follows a selective and holistic review process. Although transcripts and competition outcomes are part of the evaluation, the primary criterion is a student’s seriousness of intellectual intent, reflected in their curiosity, persistence, and depth of engagement with challenging ideas.

Moving beyond competition-oriented or grade-focused approaches, PSI cultivates an intellectual environment grounded in learning for its own sake—one that encourages deep exploration of challenging ideas while nurturing the next generation of outstanding STEM talent.
