Cultivating the Next Generation of STEM Leaders
Princeton STEM Initiative (PSI) identifies and supports intellectually ambitious middle and high school students through selective, mentorship-driven online STEM programs designed to prepare them for a fast-changing and uncertain world.

Founded by professors and researchers from Princeton, Harvard, MIT, and more.
PSI’s online programs provide rigorous academic engagement and early exposure to university-level challenging concepts and ideas, tailored specifically for middle and high school students with extraordinary mathematical and scientific ability and a serious commitment to exploring intellectually demanding material beyond what is available in standard school curricula.
Ivy League-Level STEM Exposure to Advanced Middle and High School Students
PSI’s aim is not to accelerate advanced students prematurely. Rather, it is to cultivate an intellectually rigorous environment where serious and gifted learners can naturally grow.
Whether students aspire to national competitions, hope to apply their knowledge to meaningful problems, or simply wish to explore mathematics and science at a deeper level, PSI’s programs offer an opportunity to broaden their intellectual horizons and reshape how they see mathematics and science.

Admitting Students for Curiosity, Commitment, and Depth
Admission to PSI follows a selective and holistic review process. Although transcripts and competition outcomes are part of the evaluation, the primary criterion is a student’s seriousness of intellectual intent, reflected in their curiosity, persistence, and depth of engagement with challenging ideas.
Moving beyond competition-oriented or grade-focused approaches, PSI cultivates an intellectual environment grounded in learning for its own sake—one that encourages deep exploration of challenging ideas while nurturing the next generation of outstanding STEM talent.
